​My name is Nicolas Angulo but you can call me Nick! A Peruvian-born, Florida-raised photographer with a soft spot for storytelling, good light, and even better coffee.

​

I photograph weddings, people, and places with a documentary and lifestyle approach, but more importantly: I care about real connection. The in-between stuff. The laughter that wasn’t planned. The moments that happen when everyone forgets the camera is even there.

​

When I’m not shooting or teaching photography at school (yes, I’m a full-time art teacher too!), I’m usually out playing soccer, gaming, at the gym, or aggressively hyping up my houseplants like they’re Olympic athletes. Watching them grow fills me with joy.

​

Movie nights? I’m all about Star Wars, Harry Potter, a good scary movie and anything from A24 that leaves me questioning reality. Music is a huge part of my life and helps me creatively so listening to Fred Again and Bon Iver, and Hozier takes me to that flow state but I have to throw in a little bit of Bad Bunny and Rosalia for some flavor too.

 

Favorite place I’ve ever been to would have to be Madeira, Portugal. Wild cliffs, salty air, and unreal landscapes. The states of Utah, Wyoming, and Hawaii live in a special spot in my heart too.  

 

I’m a warm, kind, sensitive, and always down for an adventure kind of person. Kindness and curiosity guide me. I believe that photography is about presence—about slowing down long enough to feel something, then sharing it frame by frame. 

 

Photography is how I stay present in this wild, beautiful world. I don’t just want to take your picture — I want to tell your story the way it feels.
