Nicolas Angulo is a lifestyle and documentary photographer whose work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and craft. Born in Lima, Peru and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Nicolas has spent the last five years capturing real, unscripted moments through a lens that honors both honesty and artistry.

 

With a background in Studio Art from Florida Atlantic University, Nicolas blends his creative instincts with technical expertise—now also holding professional certifications in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. He currently teaches photography and digital imaging at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where he brings the same passion and care to his students that he brings to every shoot.

 

From intimate weddings to expansive landscapes, Nicolas is drawn to the stories that unfold in natural light and unguarded moments. His signature style is cinematic yet grounded—focused on people, texture, mood, and movement. He has photographed dozens of weddings and life events, and his landscape work has been featured in exhibitions, most recently Art on Bric Walls (2023).

 

Inspired by outdoor adventure and driven by a desire to work with brands like Canon, Sony, Patagonia, and National Geographic, Nicolas approaches photography as a lifelong journey—one shaped by experience, empathy, and a deep respect for the creative process.
